The YMCA began serving downtown Greensboro in 1859 and today the Kathleen Price Bryan Family YMCA continues to serve the same area. Throughout our history, the YMCA has been a leader in fitness, swim lessons, sports, camping and child care programs. We stand ready to serve the next generation of YMCA participants.
The Kathleen Price Bryan Family YMCA opened its doors in January 2003 replacing our Central YMCA Branch. Our knowledgable staff is prepared to serve you as we continue our rich tradition of Building Strong Kids, Strong Families and Strong Communities by putting Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Holiday Closing:
The Bryan Family YMCA will be CLOSED on Saturday, July 4th. All current YMCA of Greensboro members may used the Spears Family YMCA from 7AM - 3PM. Please be sure to have your current membership card with you.
Pool Closings:
We will have swim meets the following days and the pool will will be closing at 4:15 PM on these days. Please check back for more details as we have them.
We would like to thank all of our donors who help make the YMCA affordable to everyone thought our annual We Build People Campaign. Please consider helping a child take swim lessons or a family to get fit together by making a donation.
