WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Youth Development
Our volunteers nurture the potential of thousands of kids year-round. They teach, mentor, guide and support kids from their first few weeks of life through their first steps into adulthood.

Healthy Living
Y volunteers provide support, resources and guidance to kids, adults and families so they can achieve greater health and well-being in spirit, mind and body.

Social Responsibility
Volunteers help the Y listen and respond to the social and critical needs of Greensboro. They help inspire compassion and involvement in our community.

The mission of the YMCA of Greensboro is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The YMCA's goal is to include everyone, regardless of ability to pay full price. Financial assistance in the form of scholarships is made possible through the “Open Doors” program, funded by the Y’s annual giving campaign.
